Mississippi National Golf Links is a public golf course located in Red Wing, Minnesota. A surprisingly convenient drive for many Twin Cities golfers looking to find golf courses in the area, Mississippi National greets each with two distinct 18 hole courses. The Lowlands and the Highlands offer fun and unique challenges while showing off beautiful vistas of the famed Red Wing Bluffs. Rolling fairways and spacious greens are the signature of both golf courses and the shot value offered at both layouts is simply as good as it gets.
Lowlands
Known to be a fair but tough test of golf, the Lowlands course is a par 71 course, measuring 6,484 from the back tees. A more traditional layout nestled in the Hiawatha Valley, the Lowlands is a great match for any level of golfer. “The Lows” has hosted all levels of competition including high school, collegiate, MGA and PGA section events. Players can walk or ride the Lowlands.
Highlands
Located above the Lowlands 18, the Highlands is memorable golf experience that offers spectacular views from the bluffs high above the Hiawatha Valley. “The Highs” is par 71 and is 6,282 yards from the back tees, and it peers down directly on into the Mississippi River bottoms & surrounding valleys with shots and views that are simply one-of-a-kind. While each hole at the Highlands is memorable and fun to play, its signature hole is No. 17, which features a 150-foot drop from tee to green.
